I’ve been collecting gear for a long time. I started repairing woodwinds, strings, brass, and guitars when I was 14 years old right when I started playing in bands. I appreciate musical equipment and all the fantastic variance, character, and subtlety each different instrument can offer a recording.
Recording and arranging guitars and voice
I’ve collected the Les Paul’s, Fender Offsets, Rickenbacker’s, amplifiers, and microphones to get the sound I need for anything from new wave, alternative rock, or any indie sounds that are needed.
Recording, production, and mixing
I’ve pursued these skills for more than 10 years. Just like everyone else that enjoys some efficiency these days, I work mostly in the box.
composition and Songwriting
My musical knowledge started at a very young age on wind instruments - but seguewayed into guitar and bass very quickly when I became a teenager! Like most I learned from my favorite records but have learned to refine my knowledge through working with peers and continuing to develop my musical vocabulary.
